Someday I won’t be able to work with the MR/MISS CR participants, today is NOT that day!
Today I had the honor of photographing this incredible group. Every year Columbia River high school seniors work their buns off for months doing fundraisers and practicing for the extremely entertaining pageant that they put on. My oldest son Brady was a participant 2 years ago and it was a highlight of not only high school for him, but of his life. This year’s class is hoping to beat the record that my son’s class set of $108,000 in funds raised for Doernbecher children’s hospital. I have known and loved many of these wonderful kids for years; so even though I’m sick today taking advantage of one more opportunity to capture their beautiful smiles and spirits was more than worth getting off the couch for. Today was a happy day!
